In 1947, at the age of thirteen, Wadih Kassatly left school to financially support his family. He learned from his father how to produce beverages, a hobby the father had also acquired from older generations.
Wadih Kassatly later revolutionized the production of beverages by sourcing fruits and herbs locally and by creating hundreds of flavors that some are still widely consumed to this day.
Caprice d’Orient syrups are elaborated with excellence inspired by the natural beauty of Lebanon, a veritable combination of mountain hills and valleys, with natural water resources and wide varieties of fruits and herbs. The origin of the syrups begun in 1947 with Wadih Kassatly, the founder, who at the age of thirteen discovered his talent of unveiling natural aromas and using them to develop his signature syrups. Today, a myriad of innovation has been created from pressing, distilling, immersing and extracting fruits and herbs for an absolute taste satisfaction.

Caprice d’Orient sauces are specifically developed for coffee shops. The sauces have two categories; the Gourmet and the Fruit sauces. The Fruit sauces can be blended with crushed ice to produce a smoothie, used as a fruit puree in cocktails to impart a fruity taste, or used as a topping for decoration. The Gourmet sauces are used either for decoration or in special cocktail recipes.

Cuisto&Co is specialized in different condiments to better serve chefs serving traditional cuisines. The condiments are divided into three categories; vinegars, distillates and molasses. Vinegars are fermented in batches. The distillates are produced from rose and blossom flowers distilled in a traditional alembic. Finally, molasses is concentrated in batches for an ideal cooking recipe.
